Why are the high dollar leads flocking to Craigslist?

Hey all,

Here's a great Craigslist lead generation case study.

Agents are slowly coming to the realization that the highest quality leads come from classified sites -- not Zillow. And the highest quality leads from among that set come from Craigslist.

With classified ads you have complete and total control over who you attract. And nowadays you don't even have to have your own listings. You can borrow within your company or (like I do) get written permission from the listing agent to advertise any property you want.

Let me share a quick story about an agent named Jim Brinker.

He recently met his ultimate dream customer.

They were a couple searching in Miami, Florida where Jim services. They were pre-approved for $400k, they knew the area and what they wanted and just needed help finding it.

Within a week, they were in escrow and just over 30 days later, it was closed.

That's my kind of deal. What about you?

But this wasn't from a referral as you might expect. Jim had met this customer with a call to a stranger he captured from an ad he posted on Craigslist.

Most of our case-studies start with a question and this one is no different. When we share the type of results we get on Craigslist in generating leads, the next thing agents always want to know is if these leads are low quality like Zillow. We understand the skepticism.

Jim expressed much of the same skepticism when he reached out to us. He primarily worked the corridor east of I95 which is a beach community with modern high rise condos and $1M+ mansions.

He was a hustler who had always gotten his customers by relentlessly working his sphere of influence for referrals. He was making decent money, but he had some goals that he wanted to meet and didn't have a way to grow.

He got my Ultimate Website system last fall and hit the ground running. He generated 59 leads in November and 72 leads in December posting a handful of ads a day and working with our coaches to optimize the ads he had written.

By the end of the year, he had increased his income 50% over the previous year and was generating between 50-100 leads every month of new business.

While he still helps a majority of his customers find a home in the $300-500k range (just above average in his market), Jim recently reported two interesting cases worth sharing.

Both leads responded to one of his optimized Craigslist ad -- and were then captured by the tools he gets from us (Ultimate Website system).

The first lead closed on a $700K home. The second? They closed for $1.2M. Not bad.

If you can read a story like that without getting pumped at the possibilities for the next year in your business (100 leads a month from FREE ads? 50% more income?!), then you must already have too much business.

For the rest of us, I will make you an offer.

When we have shared Jim's story before, agents would google him and interrupt his business. So to prevent that, we convinced Jim to make himself available for a little bit this week and you can schedule an appointment to chat, ask questions and see how he did it.

We even gave Jim a little discount code to hand out that we have never offered before.

Schedule an appointment to chat with Jim.

Please be respectful of Jim's time. He's a busy agent like you and me. But he does love meeting new folks, so click above to reserve a little time with him ^

All the best,

-Matt Jones
